    My fly zipper went. But fortunately zippers can be done by just about anyone stationed on the footpath, with a sewing machine. Wander along a main road & see if you can spot one. Should cost around 100 baht, including the zip. :schinese:

    In my excitement I ripped a dress worn by a friend & a lady sitting on a street corner with a sewing machine repaired it for me very cheaply. I was lucky my friend didn't charge me for a new dress.

    There is a repair shop at Saladaeng BTS station, on the elevated walkway.

    Plenty of places around Thailand offerring repair services for distressed tourists.

    Most [all ?] shopping areas have at least a clothing repair shop and some even a cobbler.

    Just B20 to take up a pair of jeans or B25 for dress pants. Good work too.     :ok:
