    Royal City Avenue (RCA) is one of the largest entertainment areas in Bangkok, but as visitors are concerned, probably one of the least know. RCA is a long road hosting a multitude of different types of bars & clubs. It's very much a Thai scene, RCA is frequented by Bangkok’s young, mainly university students letting off steam. Lots of variety of music depending on the bar you visit. Multi-million watt sound systems blast out Thai disco, house, R and B, and the usual American / Brit pop.



    What’s great about RCA is the wide range of places to eat & drink and the variety of themes in the clubs and restaurants. Catering for the local youth, it’s not an overpriced venue. The new MRT connections have made RCA more accessible and so it is more often finding itself on the tourist map. Be warned though, if you are over 30 you’ll feel old! Great place to visit if you are young & in Bangkok for an extended period, otherwise it’s probably not going to be a high priority against some of the more central entertainment areas.



    Note: A few of the clubs on RCA have entrance fees.

      Guys, me and my friend just went there yesterday. hook up 2 chic that approach us. Of cos we went back together. Next thing I know, i was drugged(normaly wakes up at noon after every club but i woke up at 4pm) and money stolen after we wakes up. The name of the girl are Nadia and Pie. They are telling us they are going off to Singapore the next day 4pm. I don't know how true. But they do have a few/many friends there too. Chicks from 1 of the club(dont think is allow to tell names of clubs) . Just be careful if a beautify chick approach you.

      No I haven't I don't know where I should go to report. I tried ask my apartment night shift security see if they call a taxi back or someone pick them up(They called taxi), but security don't remember the plate number. How do I get to the Thai tourist police. I wanted to report. Because before we bring them back they have a few friends or maybe more that is introduce to us. I believe all of them are in the same boat.
