    WTF? w3.mict.go.th

Of late strange things have been happening when I've been trying to load web pages (& not only the pornographic ones).

    1) I get a page timeout which contains a reference to w3.mict.go.th

    or

    2) I get a message,

Sorry, the web site you are accessing has been closed by Royal Thai Police due to inappropriateness such as pornography, gambling or contain any information which is deemed to violate national security.
Clicking refresh usually sorts out the problem.

    I'm a TT&T user subscriber.

    Anyone else experiencing this?

I had problems today whereby I couldn't reach servers located outside of the LoS. Phoned them & they said they'd been working on the problem since 2pm. Seems fine now.

I wonder if changing your DNS settings would have helped. Next time, try plugging in the IP addresses of DNS servers located at  Only the registered members can see the link. Register here.
to see if that would get around the problem. Having one of these servers in your DNS list is a good thing in case your ISP is having DNS issues.

I use opendns and I get it. There was a question about this problem posed on the local Hua Hin forum and it seems only TT&T Maxnet users get it, not TOT users, so I think it's a TT&T f'up.

Ooops! I was wrong then. I believe TT&T were recently taken over by Tesco Lotus, and I suspect you are quite right.

Interesting. I google'd the website (if I can read it correctly) and the information I found says this is the Ministry of Information. I also read that they are blocking websites the govt does not want you to see.

I found a link on a different website that went to a website with this information.
