The opening to this towering hotel is well decorated with trees and a 'through passage' to Soi 23 for taxi's and other traffic that's guarded by security. The stripe-effect is noticeable for slowing down traffic moving past alongside the hotel.
The reception is a multi-chambered affair with a sitting area, reception area and sub-lobby's that take you through to different area's like the Business centre elevator.
Despite the overwhelming 'suit and tie' crowd I was gladly given the tour of the hotel.
I was really impressed by the bold and ambitious architecture. Once you take the lift up above the lobby you come through a floor of glass and a wide, oval chasm with rooms on either side greets you. The chasm runs up through the hotel to a vast skylight on the top.
On the roof I'm told there's a swimming pool.
The first room was a deluxe class (this is the cheapest class) which was opulent and comfortable. The beds are the right balance of hardness and softness required for a comfortable nights sleep. The views were splendid as well.
The Views are impressive and the balcony area's good for what you are paying.
The next room I was shown was several floors up. This is the Suite Room which has (typical of suites) two rooms and a bathroom, compared with only one room and a bathroom for the deluxe.
The reception lobby's do get busy, like a flow of traffic in some ways. The prices are fairly reasonable given the quality and surroundings of the hotel.
Deluxe 4,300 baht
Suite 9,000 baht
WiFi charges are free for guests, visitors can use a business centre. Unfortunately this is not cheap.
Visitor Charges
15 Minutes 150
30 Minutes 300
60 Minutes 399
Access is easy to get to the Grand Millennium, just follow the BTS to Asoke and head up Soi 21 (Northwards). The hotel skyscraper is on your right.

Noodles: I agree, and I will post a review of Adelphi Suites. I have made a few comments in the past about Adelphi Suites, and made other contributions. My relative lack of computer skills has caused me hesitation in posting such reviews (e.g. I don't know how to import pictures or videos of hotels/places, as has been done on this thread and other reviews).
