While putting up in Citadines S11 few days back, I notice a new building just diagonally across my hotel, opposite to Bed. So decided to check it out and it turns out to be a brand new hotel, aloft Bangkok.

Walk up the hotel, outside really looks pretty normal, looks more like a service apartment or condo which explains why I miss this out even though I had been putting up in this soi pretty often.



What greeted me at the lobby is its boutique concept design and its young, cheerful and refreshing fluent English-speaking staffs! Was told just commence operation from 1st Dec 2011 and they are having a special promotion of B2111++ for their rooms, 2 category Chic and Urban, until March 31st, 2012.

Place looks pretty abuzz and as with anything new like hotels, girls, bars etc. I always like to try it out. Decided to take up the promotion and check-in for a night and see whether comparable to Citadines S11 and LeFenix in this Soi which I'm usually put up.

Room with king-size bed, chic, neat, cosy and fresh


Bathroom with all the basic amentities complete with wardrobe, security box etc.


Overall, was quite impressed with the hotel service and room. Needless to say, its always nice to stay in a brand new hotel, everything is so refreshing and neat. Hotel only 2 smoking floors with the others non-smoking. Well, suits me, am a non smoker. Staffs are young and hip with always a smile on their face and there's always warm greetings when you walk into the hotel, even with your 'companion' in arms. Housekeeping is also neat and room service is prompt.

Negative point, well didn't experience any, maybe becoz I only stay for a night. Just that I would prefer rooms come attach with a bathtub for me and my companion :)

With their promotion price and given that its brand new, its pretty comparable to other boutique hotels around that area. And since its new and I've quite enjoy my stay, why not, I'll be back in there in a fortnight time.

Hope you guys enjoy my recommendation.

And oh before someone ask, its certainly ... I certainly had a wonderful Babelicious Christmas night in there !

Well, didn't know I've put up at one of the Top Launch Hotels of 2011 in Bangkok

For B2111++ a night, I guess in such case its a steal.

Paul, certainly worth a check for that price for a brand-new boutique style hotel and CNN Top launch hotels of 2011 couldn't be much wrong ^^

Seems to be getting popular, sees quite a crowd during my last stay there 2 weeks back.

Was feature in CH9 "Woody Talk Show" guest actress Ice currently-in-cinema Thai film "ATM Err Rak Error"
